You Have No Right

You have no right

To touch me

If you can’t feel my embrace in a tap.

You have no right

To hear me

If you can’t feel the care in my voice.

You have no right

To see me

If you can’t see through the dirt in me.

You have no right

To smell me

If my smell on you isn’t good enough.

You have no right

To think of me

If my thoughts for you count for nothing.

You have no right

To taste me

If my reality scares you.

You have no right

To care for me

If you aren’t with me when I need you the most.

You have no right

To share with me

If my views aren’t good enough.

You have no right

To laugh on me

If you can’t dare to have it back.

You have no right

To cry for me

If the tears in your eyes don’t wash away my sins.

You have no right

To sing with me

If the two of us aren’t good enough to build the notes of love.

You have no right

To stand by me

If I still find it hard to trust you.

You have no right

To love me

If you can’t accept me.
